The Chicago GSB Admissions Committee released Round One decisions today via the online application system. DSAC would like to congratulate those applicants admitted to the Class of 2009. You'll be getting your admit packet soon via Fed Ex and we encourage you to explore the website for admitted students over the next few weeks. And don't forget to sign up for Admit Weekend!
For those who were waitlisted, don't lose hope. Many people are admitted off the waitlist. Keep an eye out for an email from the Admissions Committee that will tell you more about how the waitlist is managed and how you can update your application file.
For those who were denied, we want to wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors, whatever they may be...applications to other MBA programs, a reapplication to the GSB in 2007, and/or pursuing your current career or a new career.
For those who haven't yet applied, the Round Two deadline is rapidly approaching. Be sure to submit your application by 5:00 pm CST on January 10th. Good luck with any last minute essay editing over the holidays!

Winter Receptions
Student-sponsored winter receptions are happening around the world this week and next. There is still time to sign up and attend some of the events. The best way to learn about life is to talk to current students and this is a great opportunity to do it in a city near you.

Welcome!
You've stumbled upon the blog of the Chicago GSB Dean's Student Admissions Committee. We've put together this blog as an additional resource for prospective students. This blog will be completely student run. You'll see posts from DSAC co-chairs, members, graduate assistants, and other GSB students. Topics and information you find here will include on and off campus events, the application process, interviews, GSB news, alumni news, etc. We hope you find this to be a helpful resource. If you have questions or comments, you can reach us via the GSB Discussion Forums.
